Terms of Service

Welcome to Mixpreset (the “Service”), operated by an individual sole operator (“we”, “us”, the “Operator”). By accessing or using Mixpreset, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What Mixpreset is

Mixpreset is a digital marketplace for vocal-chain presets — configuration files for digital audio workstations (DAWs) such as Logic Pro. Each listing lets you audition a before/after preview on a real vocal before you acquire the preset.

2. Accounts

You need an account to buy credits, acquire presets, or sell. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction, or have a parent/guardian’s consent, to use the Service. Provide accurate information and keep it current.

3. Credits and payments

Mixpreset uses a credit system. You purchase credits and spend them to acquire presets. Credit prices, pack sizes, and preset prices are shown at the point of purchase and may change over time. New accounts may receive a number of complimentary credits; complimentary credits carry no cash value and may expire or be revoked.

Payments are processed by LemonSqueezy as our merchant of record. When you buy credits, your purchase contract for payment is with LemonSqueezy, which handles billing, payment methods, sales tax/VAT, and receipts. Your use of their checkout is also subject to LemonSqueezy’s own terms and privacy policy.

4. License to presets

When you acquire a preset, you receive a license to use it under our Preset License. You do not buy ownership of the underlying preset, only the license described there. Read it — it defines what you may and may not do.

5. Sellers

If you register as a seller, you represent that you own or have the rights to the presets and preview audio you upload, and that they do not infringe anyone’s rights. You grant Mixpreset a non-exclusive license to host, display, preview, and distribute your listings to buyers. Seller earnings accrue as credits per the rates shown in your dashboard; payouts are handled manually and may be subject to minimums and verification.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• resell, redistribute, or sub-license presets except as the Preset License allows;
• scrape, bulk-download, or attempt to harvest the catalog or preview audio;
• reverse-engineer, disrupt, or probe the Service’s security;
• upload unlawful, infringing, or malicious content; or
• misuse credits, chargebacks, or promotions in bad faith.

7. Intellectual property

The Mixpreset name, logo, site design, and original content are owned by the Operator and protected by law. These Terms grant you no rights to our branding.

8. Disclaimers

The Service and all presets are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that a preset will produce any particular result with your vocal, plugins, or DAW version.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the credits or preset giving rise to the claim in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or misuse the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (licenses already granted, disclaimers, liability limits) will survive.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above and, where appropriate, by notice on the site. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Operator is established, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Because LemonSqueezy is the merchant of record, payment, tax, refund, and chargeback matters are additionally governed by LemonSqueezy’s terms.
