Preset License

In short: use your presets on as many of your own songs as you like, commercially or not — just don't resell or redistribute the preset file itself.

1. What you get

When you acquire a preset, the Operator grants you a worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to use that preset for your own music production. You receive a license, not ownership of the preset.

2. You may

• use the preset on unlimited personal and commercial productions;
• use it to mix vocals you release, distribute, or sell;
• modify and tweak the chain to taste within your own projects; and
• keep using presets you've acquired even if you later close your account.

3. You may not

• resell, sub-license, rent, or give away the preset file;
• redistribute it — publicly, in packs, in templates, or in stock libraries;
• share your account or downloads so others obtain the preset without acquiring it;
• claim the preset itself (as a standalone product) as your own or upload it to another marketplace; or
• use Mixpreset branding to imply endorsement.

4. Artist names & "vibes"

Listings may reference an artist or song to describe the *sonic vibe* a chain is built around. This is descriptive only. A preset is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sourced from any named artist, and acquiring it grants you no rights in any third party's name, recordings, or likeness.

5. Third-party plugins

A chain may reference third-party plugins. You are responsible for owning valid licenses to any plugins required to load a preset. Mixpreset does not grant rights to third-party software.

6. Ownership of your music

You own the music you create. Using a preset does not give the Operator any rights in your recordings or releases.

7. Termination

This license ends automatically if you breach it (for example, by redistributing a preset). On termination you must stop using and delete the preset files.
