Frequently asked questions
Still stuck? Email us from the Contact page.
What exactly am I buying?
A vocal-chain preset — a configuration file for your DAW (e.g. Logic Pro) that recreates a specific vocal sound. You spend a credit, download the file, and load it in your DAW. See the Preset License for usage.
How do credits work?
You buy credits in packs, then spend them on presets — typically one credit per preset. New accounts start with a free credit. Top up any time on the Credits page.
Can I hear a preset before I buy?
Yes — that’s the whole point. Every listing plays the same vocal before and after the chain so you know what you’re getting. Tap any row in Browse to audition it.
Will it sound exactly like the artist?
A preset captures the vibe and tonal character of a sound, applied to your voice. Your source vocal, mic, and performance matter — it’s a creative starting point, not a clone of someone else’s record.
Do I need specific plugins?
Some chains use stock DAW plugins only; others reference third-party plugins listed in the preset’s tags. Check the tags before buying, and make sure you own any required plugins.
What DAWs are supported?
Each listing states its DAW. Most presets target Logic Pro today, with more formats over time. A Logic preset won’t load in a different DAW.
Can I get a refund?
Digital downloads are generally non-refundable once delivered, but we’ll make it right if a file is broken, misrepresented, or you were charged in error. Full details on the Refund Policy.
Do I keep my presets forever?
Yes. Presets you acquire stay in your purchases and remain yours to use under the license, even if you stop buying.
