Mixpreset started from a simple frustration: preset packs ask you to buy on faith. You see a plugin screenshot, you pay, you hope. We flipped it — every chain here is played on a real vocal so you know exactly what you're getting.
Why we built it
Who's behind it
Mixpreset is built and run by an independent producer — a small, focused operation rather than a faceless storefront. That means tight curation, fast fixes, and a real person on the other end of contact.
The chains that actually worked were the ones built by ear on real vocals, over hundreds of sessions. So we started sharing those — with the one thing every preset pack was missing: the ability to hear it on a real voice before you commit.

Start with a vibe
We pick a reference — an artist tone, a genre lane — and a real vocal take to build against.
Build by ear
Gate, EQ, comp, color and space, gain-staged and tuned until the take sits like a record.
Stress-test it
Run it on other voices — louder, quieter, brighter — to be sure it holds up on your source, not just ours.
Capture the proof
We record the dry and wet so you hear the exact before/after on the page before you spend a credit.
